「GIF」という表現の作品を作るに至った背景やきっかけ、思いがあればお教え下さい。

　私は3年前gifをつくり始めました。その前は、モーショングラフィック動画をつくっていました。しかし私は従来のアニメーションにインスパイアされ、自分自身のgifをつくろうと思いました。

　I started making gifs about 3 years ago. I had created motion graphics videos before that, but I was inspired by traditional animation and wanted to create my own.

「GIF」という表現手法をどう捉えていらっしゃいますか。

　私は切れ目なく永遠に動作が続くアイデアが気に入っています。gif のショートフォーマットでは、たくさんの様々なテクニックとスタイルを実験することが出来ます。

　I love the idea of an action that continues seamlessly forever. The short format of the gif allows me to quickly experiment with a lot of different techniques and styles.
