　コーヒーのGIFは私の一番のお気に入りです。それは誰でも共感できるところがあるシンプルなアイディアだからです。イラストレーションとユーモアという点でも私のスタイルを表現している作品です。

　The coffee gif has proved to be my most popular gif yet. I love it because it’s a really simple idea that almost everyone can relate to in one way or another.It also captures my style perfectly in terms of illustration and humour.

「GIF」という表現の作品を作るに至った背景やきっかけ、思いがあればお教え下さい。

　私はアニメーションを作り始めて5年くらいになります。ですが、ここ一年くらいはGIFを専門に制作をしています。GIFはオンラインではどんどん一般的になってきましたし、私もGIFを作ることが楽しくなりました。今年は、もっと多くの作品を作りたいと思っています。
　I’ve been animating for about 5 years now, but I’ve only started focusing on Gifs in the last year or so. They have become more and more popular online and I found that I enjoy making them.I’m hoping to create many more this year.

「GIF」という表現手法をどう捉えていらっしゃいますか。

　制作にそこまで多くの時間をかけなくても、とても短いストーリーを伝えることができるので、私はGIFが好きです。それから、みんなの注目を集めて、3-5秒くらいの時間で笑わせるってことへのチャレンジも大好きです。

　I love creating gifs because they allow me to tell very short stories without having to spend a long time on a project. I also love the challenge of capturing someone’s attention and making them smile through a 3-5 second loop.
